When I was 17 I joined the United State Marine Corps After twelve weeks at Parris Island, N.C. I was stationed in the States for Six months. In April 1968 I went to Vietnam. "I saw my share of combat" I was in Vietnam for around twenty-two months.

I thought about writing a book about my experiences. I'm not a writer so I kind of put it on the back burned. I started driving Tractor-Trailers. I drove truck for thirty-six years.

When I was getting close to retiring so, I thought of creating a new character. Jay Jax. That's when I thought about writing my book.

"Jay Jax 1936"

About seven years ago I was injured at work. I was forced to take a DISABILITY RETIREMENT. It made me somewhat depressed. Five years ago I started to think about my thought on coming up with a new character. So, one day I sat down at my computer and started typing. I had no idea what I was doing. It took me over four years to write it. It only had 71 pages. After all this was my first book. I gave away of my copies that I received. I thought that it was a good story, so did everyone that has read it.

One of my friends told me that this story would make a good movie. I've already talked to a couple of "SCREENWRITERS" they're both interested. I just started writing my second book. It's a PREQUEL. Starting in 1889 and going all the way to 1934.

My next book should be better than the first.
